Greg Calhoun directs and coordinates IAQ Consultants, Inc.'s Asbestos Services Program. As IAQ Consultants, Inc.'s primary asbestos inspector and project designer, he is responsible for all asbestos project scheduling and management, developing asbestos abatement project specifications and providing oversight of all asbestos abatement projects. Greg performs quality assurance audits of all activities in within the Asbestos Services Program, including laboratory services, inspection protocol and on-site project management activities. Greg's responsibilities also include client interfacing and serving as the client's representative in dealing with asbestos abatement contractors and Texas Department of State Health Services personnel.
Before joining IAQ Consultants, Inc., Greg served as Manager of Asbestos Services for Industrial Hygiene and Safety Technology, Inc. and as Senior Program Manager for Environmental Management Resources, Inc.
Greg is listed on the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Asbestos Analyst Registry and participates in the Asbestos Analyst Testing (AAT) and Proficiency Analyst Testing (PAT) quality assurance programs.
Combining extensive experience and skill in planning and conducting asbestos operations, Greg Calhoun applies a "strategic" view in planning building inspections and developing abatement specifications and operations and maintenance programs, incorporating both the client's short term needs and long-term goals.
Greg holds eight professional licenses and certifications from governmental agencies, including the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
